Welcome to Lord Vile's online lair. For those of you who may not have heard the whispered rumors, let it be known that the master is an evil genius who schemes from the shadows of our society. His legions of loyal minions come here for news and fellowship.

Rock Band Victory

Lord Vile sent a band called the Henchmen to the Alamo Drafthouse to compete in their Rock Band challenge. Bishop sang lead, Agent 0000 played lead guitar, Agent 0410 played bass and Agent 0229 backed them up on drums. After some lackluster entries failed to bring the noise Bishop's energetic vocals got the party started. When 0410 whipped his bass behind his head and continued to play the crowd went wild. It was a solid performance all the way around. It ended with cheers and a standing ovation. When all was said and done the Henchmen came in a solid second.

Well done. Vile is pleased.

Halloween Wrap Up

vile_head.jpgGreetings Minions. The Archivist interface recently forwarded this video to me. It is good publicity but it brings up an unresolved issue. After issuing a challenge we were in fact beaten and because we had no net profit we could not make good on our end of the bargain. Lord Vile pays his debts. Defuser - I hereby make you this one time offer. Next year I will put my considerable resources, creativity and manpower at your disposal for the creation of an area within your Scare For A Cure haunt. We will work together under truce and deliver to you the kind of terror only a true villain understands. What do you say Hero?

Attention Heroes!

Lord Vile has begun his rise to power and has found himself lacking something no self respecting Villain should be without - a Nemesis. He has chosen to conduct a search for a worthy adversary and is inviting anyone who dares to call themselves a hero in the Austin area to participate.

New HR Director

We have a new Director of Henchman Resources - Agent 0408. From now on she will be the conduit between our Henchman and the Project Managers hat report to Vile and his Lieutenants. It is a demanding job and considering the fate of the last HR Director she is an exceptionally brave woman.

Ain't it Cool? Yes it is.

Check out this article by Professor Challenger about his experience at Staple and how he became a Henchman of Lord Vile.
Well done and welcome Agent 0460!

Goodbye Gary

Gary Gygax died today. If you ever rolled a die that wasn't a cube you know who that is and why it is worth mentioning. Before I found the courage to try to make what I want out of the real world his game provided me with the tools I needed to experiment with megalomania. Without Gary there would be no Vile. Thanks Gary. I owe you one.

Staple After Action Report

Lord Vile, Banshee and a handful of faithful Henchmen descended on the Staple! Expo here in Austin today. Our brief stage presentation was well received, we raised some money to help protect the Gray Wolves and our recruiting efforts were so successful that we ran out of applications and Henchmen ID cards. Vile was busy conducting interviews, being interviewed or taking pictures with admirers from the moment he arrived until the moment he left several hours later. All in all, it was the most successful appearance we have had so far. Our thanks to Uncle Staple and everyone who made it possible.
